Capt. Alonso Perez DE LEON died in 1661. While on a trip leading a company of 20 men to collect salt from the San Lorenzo salt flats, Capt. Alonso de Leon sufferred his second stroke. A previous stroke had left him crippled over half his body; this second stroke left him wholly crippled and mute. He was carried on a litter to his home in the Pilon Valley, where he died within 2 months. Parents:
