Juan Jose SOLIS. Juan Jose Solis was the Original Grantee of Porcion 107 in Camargo. He was also one of the 13 original founders in 1774 of the "congregacion" named San Juan de los Esteros Hermosos about 20 miles upstream from the mouth of the Rio Grande River; the "congregacion" grew into the city known today as Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. His ranch was known as Soliseno.
